Govenemen of Republic Indonesia in Agustus 5th 2009 had awarded th regulation by Comunnication and information minister wich no 27/P/M.KOMINFO/8/2008 about trial digital TV. Regarding to that regulation TELKOM and TVRI try to suport governemen program whit make new consortium between TELKOM and TVRI. This consortium called KONSORSIUM TELKOM - TVRI (KTT). And after evaluated by governemen KTT were pass the selection to conduct trial digital TV .

KTT is build from two institution which is have different background shall make synergi to realize digital TV service. Many problem shall be finish, but whit seriusly solving problem all problem sucessfuly handle by KTT . One example the problem where the tower not yet ready, KTT had sucess make cooperation whit MNC group to realize together trial DVB-T . In this trial KTT using simulticast method therefor broadcast program in DVB-T same whit Analog TV. The broadast program coming from existin broadcast Studio that sended to head-end DVB-T trough Microwave and Metro-Ethernet network. Broadcast program also coming from  Satelit TV receiver in head-end DVB-T. Each boadcst program and then compressed by MPEG-2 Encoder where multiplexed. In the next step multiplexing result bradcasted by DVB-T transmiter and posible received by analogue TV after added set top box.
